I had a lovely holiday at the hotel. The grounds are beautiful with a variety of pools, and our lagoon room was nice, albeit located near a less enjoyable pool. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the dining experience left much to be desired, particularly in terms of food quality and pricing. Overall, I would return if they improved the food options.

Rooms

Our lagoon room was comfortable with a nice pool access, though it had a little mold in the bathroom. Overall, it was clean and lovely.
Service
7.0
The staff were outstanding and very welcoming, but the wait staff could use more training as they often forgot our coffee at breakfast.
Location

The hotel had easy access to the beach and plenty of pool areas to enjoy, which made for nice, relaxing walks.
Dining

The dining was disappointing; the food was overpriced and lacked flavor, and the breakfast pastries were heavy and unappetizing.
Facilities

With multiple lovely pools and great grounds, the facilities were definitely a high point of our stay.

My stay at the resort was quite disappointing, to be honest. While the tropical gardens were beautiful, the state of the rooms and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. I had high hopes for a luxurious getaway, but I walked away feeling let down, especially considering the price. I'll likely look for other options next time.

Rooms

The room had a terrible smell with noticeable mold, and it was far from the lagoon view we expected.
Service

Housekeeping neglected the room, and despite raising the issues, there was little follow-up or action taken.
Location

The grounds and gardens are a strong point, but the overall property feels outdated.
Dining

Dining was okay, but nothing exceptional; I faced long waits and overlooked orders.
Facilities

The pools are nice, but poorly maintained with damaged linings.

The Sheraton Gran Mirage Resort is a stunning tropical getaway with beautiful gardens and a fantastic pool area. The rooms offer a luxurious feel, especially with options like swim-up entries. However, the service can be inconsistent, with some guests experiencing issues with cleanliness and responsiveness. Overall, it's a great option for those wanting to relax or explore the local attractions.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring a large bathroom and excellent amenities like a mini bar and coffee machine. My only issue was the cleanliness of the first room, which was unfortunately not up to standard.
Service
6.0
The service was hit or miss. While some staff were fantastic and attentive, I encountered some delays and issues with room service that detracted from my experience.
Location
9.0
The resort is perfectly located just moments from the beautiful beach and a short drive to the town center, making it easy to explore local restaurants and attractions.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were varied, but I found some areas needed improvement, particularly with the breakfast service which could run out of items quickly.
Facilities
8.0
The amenities, including the expansive pool area and gardens, are impressive and provide plenty of options for relaxation or adventure.

I just got back from a delightful trip to Port Douglas and had a lovely stay at this hotel. The lagoon entry room was a great choice, offering beautiful views and easy access to the area. The staff, especially Graham, were outstanding and helped make our diving trip unforgettable. Unfortunately, the dining options could use some improvement, especially at Harrison's, which felt lacking in atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience but some areas could definitely use a bit more attention.

Rooms
9.0
The lagoon entry room was stunning and far exceeded my expectations with its modern aesthetics and comfort.
Service
8.0
Most of the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, particularly with arranging our Barrier Reef trip.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, with easy access to the lagoon and proximity to the main hotel area.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a wide variety of offerings, but dining at Harrison's could use a boost in ambiance.
Facilities
7.0
The pools were beautiful, but too cold for swimming during my visit in August.
